Owners are sweet and pleasant. The rooms are clean, they provide a desk, a TV, and there is actually two beds. The bathroom water pressure is wonderful, they provide a hairdryer and they do give you complimentary soap. Remember you are paying for a bed, not the decor. The bed is comfortible.
Stayed at this hotel last night....great place..quiet, very clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all. Place had a very good price..right off of expressway and then right back on in the morning. It has a restaurant next door to it. Everything is homemade and tasted good. But we believe we got food poisoning from it. Sick and vomiting all day both of us...severe diarrhea also. Wouldn't recommend it.
Super clean! Large room, with useful microwave and fridge (the freezer compartment even worked, which I've stopped expecting in hotel rooms at any price point). It is right next to the highway and a railroad track, as other reviewers mentioned, but we could barely hear the highway and didn't notice the train at all (and our room was on the highway side of the building). All in all, an affordable gem!
The price is great. The owners are very accommodating and nice people. I liked that the beds were not to firm and not to soft. This does not have every bell and whistle but the ones they have are nice. My go to now for staying in Charleston.
Very pleasantly surprised by the value. room is spotless, comfortable, no bad smells or stains. Has mini fridge and microwave and even a view of river. Not fancy but better than the average basic low cost motel!
