These people are great. They are so reasonable with the charges and so good to our dog. I travel from Elkview, and it is well worth it. We recommended Valley West to our son and daughter in law, who already had a vet. They tried Valley West and changed, they love it there!
My kitty, Marco, is afraid of everybody but me. I was amazed at how comfortable he felt around the vet. As a consequence he cooperated 100 percent.
Also about a week and half ago I had to have my kitty Ashley put to sleep from old age. I was a basket case. I was very grateful for the way they treated both me and my pet in this trying situation.
Today I took my dog in for the vet tech to express my dog's anal glands. However, the vet tech suspected a problem, and I was immediately able to talk to a veterinarian, who examined my dog and prescribed antibiotics. Very grateful for Valley West and Elk Valley Vet Hospitals. Their vets and staff are very professional and caring people.Very highly recommend!
This was the MOST caring place I've ever been to! The staff went over and above the call of duty for my beautiful Ace in helping her pass on to doggy heaven. They went as far as to send a card to my family with a paw print card and words of sympathy to my kids. They now have my loyalty and I won't go anywhere else.
They are arguably the most professional and up to date Veterinary clinic in the valley. The staff is professional and courteous and will accommodate your pet into certain rooms if you let them know ahead of time. We had a mobility impaired doggo (old age and bad hip) and they always gave us the very first room coming into the facility to make it easier for him.
