Sara Stephenson, the other vets and the staff at GS are top notch! They care for their patients and their families with the upmost skill and compassion. Our fur and feathered family have been happily and thoroughly treated by Good Shepherd since 2001.
I've been taking my dogs to them for 10 years and they are both happy and healthy. The employees are always helpful and nice to the dogs. They recently expanded and started offering boarding. I have left my dogs while on vacation several times. If you have two dogs you can get a larger cage and the dogs can stay together. I will keep taking my dogs here.
I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Sara and her staff are 100% invested in the well-being of all my animals. They have consistently gone above and beyond basic care and we are forever grateful.
When Paul was there I would've given 10 stars! Recently my dog was hit by a car and these folks treated me as if I was a low life worthy of no respect. They were all rude, condescending, argumentative, and ultimately neglectful of my best friend. They lack communication which really caused a ton of confusion amongst everyone involved and Sarah is down right rude! He was in emergency care and transported to Good Shepherd whom I've used quite a bit in the past. They contradicted everything that was advised by the folks at the e-care facility and made accusations about me regarding the e-care facility that were not only untrue but also negated by the secondary company. To top off all the negative after spending 3,000$ hospitalizing my buddy; just before leaving they made a big deal about the importance of keeping his bandages clean and dry. Well, he had an accident and peed insiderhe facility then walked right through it soiling his freshly bandaged legs (bandaged after surgery with open wounds) when asked nicely to please check the bandages they refused to look and said well maybe you shouldn't have encouraged him to walk through it. Then slammed the door as they walked away. Really!!!!! Never would anyone encourage their loved one to place fresh surgical wounds in urine. Also, we hadn't even left yet. I could understand if we had left and come back. I would even expect to have to pay a little extra. But he hadn't even left their care yet and that's how they reacted. I don't know what happened to this place but I would seriously reconsider using them. I don't like to give bad reviews at all. But, this had to of been the worst experience I've ever had with a business. They, as real doctors are upheld to a standard of care and these folks have failed miserably.
We love Good Shepherd! Dr Stephenson is amazing—truly a caring professional. Dr Blanton took great care of our dog when our dog was ill. The office is clean and efficient; we have been able to get in and out quickly. The staff is so friendly and caring. We recommend Good Shepherd to all of our friends!
We have been clients for about three years. In that time, the Staff have been nothing but wonderful. It is pricier than some other options, but the care and attention my kitties get is worth every penny. I definitely recommend this facility.
