KidCare does have 24 hr answering, we've had to use this service twice for after-hours situations. Both times, after leaving my info with answering, I've received a call from the medical staff (one of those times was Dr. Darnell herself).

[Update: After reading through many of the other reviews left on here, I decided I should provide more detail also.

Dr. Darnell is great about making visits as easy as possible for both child and parent. She's also great about respecting a teen patient's changing needs for privacy and dignity.

I've never had a single problem with the office staff. Everyone has treated my children and myself very well.

We've been with Dr. Darnell since 2011, and I cannot say enough good about her. KidCare has consistently provided my family with outstanding care. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best pediatric practice in the area.

Awesome staff!

Love them!

I absolutely adore Dr Evans!

I cannot give a good rating, as Dr. Evans is rude and expects everything to go exactly the way she wants, or she will call CPS on you. She is the worst pediatrician we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with and I would not recommend anyone take their children to her.

They DO have a sick waiting room. With a TV and toys. I've seen most of the providers during sick clinics. They really listen to me and seem to value my thoughts as a mom.

I'm really confused about the reviews saying there is no area for sick children as there most certainly is...with four kids, we've been there a few times. The room is labeled above the door, and there is also a sign in the main lobby indicating it's existence.]

I've been with KidCare through just about every stage, from newborn to teen. While we have happily met with Drs. Evans and Robinson, Dr. Darnell is our primary doctor of choice. She is sincere, knowledgeable, compassionate, and realistic; From yearly visits to illnesses and injuries, she has been there every step of the way.

Amazing doctors, easy to get into an appointment, always helpful, and professional. They really know what they're doing!

This pediatrics office is completely unprofessional. I would recommend everyone choose a different doctor for this children.

The one time I had to call afterhours I was called back very quickly.
