I went there for a mini makeover as I heard about it. It is an hour drive away. The girls didn't say hello, and didn't even come and ask if I need any help. When I tried to ask one girl, she just walked passed me completely ignoring me. I tried to ask them in the register but they were busy talking to themselves. It was a late afternoon on the Nov6, 2015. It was the most horrible experience I ever felt in any store.
Just recently moved to WV, and this was my first Sephora experience.... And it hasn't been good. I've gone into the store 4 times and only on the first occasion was I actually treated like a valued customer. I haven't seen any of the girls that had helped me on that first trip, and after my last three attempts, I prefer to order online than go into this store. The current first shift staff need SERIOUS curtesy training. I am not a serial complainer about retail, but my experiences have been so negative that I felt the need to write a review in hopes that management, or someone who would care to make a positive change, will do so. There is a general uppity sass associated with generally all of them. It is truly off putting for the average buyer. Makeup, in all areas be it shopping or applying, should be a fun experience. Sadly, that is not the case regaurding the Charleston town center branch of Sephora. Let me know when you clean house.
I came into the store on Friday night, getting myself a brand new eyeliner, and when I went up to the checkout counter, I asked an employee if she could help me check out, and she just rolled her eyes at me, said, "Give me a minute." and walked away. I waited for about 15 minutes at the counter and she did not return. I just set the eyeliner down on the counter and left.
My daughter went to have her winter formal makeup done. They did an amazing job. Would recommend to a anyone needing a special look.
