Camc removed a carcinoid tumor from my appendix and later did a colectomy removing some of my colon. Never once did the cancer center talk to me about chemotherapy which would make sure the cancer did not spread. Also there is a computer in my skull and camc will not give me a copy of the MRI. I guess they want a search warrant. I told the police I was under mind control so they locked me up a mental hospital and said I was schizophrenic.
Absolutely No privacy! HIPPA doesn't seems to matter at Ca center. Ns asks personal health questions for all to hear. Treatment areas are open and everyone looks at everyone. it's very intrusive!!! Phone calls are not returned even regarding appointment changes, etc. I don't care for this place at all! Nurses are pleasant and helpful though.
We just started taking my brother in and we are already having trouble getting ahold of his dr to approve his pain meds because they sent 10 mg instead of 20 mgs. So now my brother has to stay in pain for another day.. Its just wrong.
They just never seem to have it together here. My x-rays are never faxed to their own imaging center, my blood test are very hard to get the results from and the wait to find out if your blood test are ok is lengthy. This center started pretty strong, but has become very slouchy on their service to their patients. I was told there is supposed to be an American Cancer center built here in W.v. I will not hesitate to transfer if it is so.
