So glad Jennifer S has returned to the Charleston store from Barboursville. She has always been my personal shopper at Ashley and today proved to be the same. She helped me get exactly what I came for plus a few other items. She is amazing to work with! Ask for her if you want someone who will help you and not push everything on you. Great shopping experience!!!
Poor customer service! They claim only your salesperson can give you updates on your furniture and they don’t call to update you. Also for delivery they don’t tell you what time it will be delivered and by then it’s short notice and they aren’t flexible.
Had a family member that had open heart surgery and needed a recliner in a hurry. Ashley had some in stock which is difficult to find. Most items we selected would require a week or two for delivery. However, Lois, came to our rescue. She knew my situation being the only caregiver available, so she went above and beyond to help me. She sent pictures of items in stock, along with specs so we could see if any would work. We found one that was just what was needed but the warehouse was closed. I would need to come to the store to purchase, however Lois living near where we were, brought the paperwork to me so it could be processed and available the next day. It doesn't stop there, knowing that there could be a wait for delivery, she made arrangements to bring it to me and helped get it set up in the home. We love the chair! As soon as my family member got settled into it, they were comfortable and asleep before she left the driveway. :) The chair is exactly what he needed and is a nice quality and motorized which helps as well. I like the chair, but we love the service from Lois. Above and beyond really doesn't get close to describing how special she made us feel. I'm telling everyone about this and she has a customer for life.
Jenn was our salesperson and she was extremely helpful with our decision making. Spent lots of time with us and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed or pressured. Compared several different brands before deciding and once we did we felt comfortable with our decision. Our major concern was quality and endurance and we felt what we purchased will satisfy those concerns. Would give 5 stars later if time validates our expectations.
