Simple inspection, tires replaced less than 2000 miles ago and was told it would not pass. Seems they're just trying to make any extra money they can.
This place just recently.moved from Campbell's creek to Kanawha city. TED serviced my car in a timely manner and was very professional. I have no complaints. I recommend this place for a fast service and friendly environment.
I only gave this place a 1 because 0 is not an option. I own 2 cars 1 of which i took for an oil change here. After i had a power steering leak. I went to another shop for repairs. There i was told that the power steering line had been cut or poked. I had my suspensions but what could i really do? I took my other car to UTC today for an inspection sticker. They told me that my front wheel bearings were going bad and needed replaced. It would cost me $250 per wheel for a total of $500 and that they could not give me a sticker until they made the repair. I didnt mention to them that i had the same work done to that very car 8 months prior and that i knew in fact the parts were in new and working order. I also didnt mention that it only cost me $220 with an alignment at the other shop. I simply told him to wait on the sticker and ill come back when i can pay for the repairs. Meanwhile i left immediately and went to Murdocks in Clendenin for a 2nd opinion. They went over my car with a fine tooth comb finding nothing wrong whatsoever. Murdocks gladly passed and placed an inspection sticker on my car. Up The Creek Towing is in the business of ripping people off and making problems where there are none. I do not recommend them to anyone!
