I used to go there fairly often before they changed everything and brought in new prices and new staff. The lady who used to work there was the sweetest , kindest person you would ever want to meet. I only wish I knew her name. When she left and it all changed I pretty much quit going in. The prices are so high now that people who are truly poor or on a fixed income have had to look elsewhere to shop. Books went to 2.49 for hard backs and 1.49 for paperbacks and a person who reads a lot cannot afford them anymore. The misc. items, whatnots , etc., have more than doubled in price. Furniture is ridiculously over priced. Saw a little bedside table for thirty dollars! Really! Used potty chairs for twenty dollars! You have to clean and disinfect , repair, paint, or whatever all this stuff and you are also risking that it may have a chip, tear, crack, flaw that you aren't even aware of and they want so much for it. No thanks, I'll just buy new or shop elsewhere. These thrift stores need to get a grip or they will be out of business soon.
Variety of clothing and a nice place to shop
thanks to them I received 3 jobs, now I have to decide which one too take!!
Lowest prices on furniture I've found at any and all thrift stores in the Kanawha region.
I have fun looking for treasure in this place.
