Food taste is predictable. The temperatures are known to vary a bit. The wait staff are friendly tho it may take some time to get a table or get an order during busy times. The store has much to offer for gifts, old time snacks and unusual items for decorating. Their clothing selection is quite nice.
Super nice staff. Stopped by on a road trip nearly close to closing. We were treated very well. Service was great. Didn't feel rushed. Workers were pleasant. Food was fresh.
My first time ever getting a bad meal at Cracker Barrel. Our chicken tenders were fried hard and part of our order was left out. I have eaten at Cracker Barrel in several states and their food is always consistent and very delicious I've just never had this happen to me before; this is in Charleston West Virginia by-the-way.
Home style cooked meals. Chicken is delicious. Lots of great gifts and unique candies to choose from. love the country store.
Let me tell you something. Don't ever go here on thanksgiving day. Not only is it a mad house with no sense of organization but the service was terrible. Managers weren't even acting like things were a big deal. First of all my plate was wrong I don't eat pork and they wouldn't let me substitute my ham for turkey. Ok I dealt with that. Then all the turkey meals were supposed to be the same If you can't do substitutions right? Wrong they left out our pie and sweet potato casserole on 4 dinners and stuffing on 1. When I confronted the waitress and showed her on the menu after verbally telling her we were missing items and she said it didn't come with the meal. She told us her manager told her that the sweet potatoes were an option and pie did not come with it. So either the management didn't prepare their staff before their shifts or the kitchen staff was messed up because if you can't do any substitutions then shouldn't all the plates have the same thing for the most part other than the additional side? It was just unbelievable spending 70 dollars on a headache. Never again
