Most items are EXPIRED. Check the expiration date on everything. The price will be marked in the aisles for a certain price & when you leave your receipt will show a higher price. I’ve checked to see if this was a one time thing and sadly it is not. I live within walking distance and will never go again. For a poor state and a poor area it’s sad that the local food market has prices jacked up so high instead of pricing according to the demographic. It’s worth the drive to Wal-Mart. I’m done.
Sadly when you call the Elkview Smiths they won't pick up the phone & if they do pick up they'll hang up on you. If you don't want to answer the phone while your not busy then i guess this job isn't for them.. Mr. Smith needs to hire new help or explain to them part of the job is to answer the phone!! #WorseSmithsEmployessEver!!!!

Very nice grocery store. Average selection with a great deli. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are on par with most in the area.
Family store located in elkview wv but the owners also own a foodfair in clenendin wv but it was flooded and owners won't reopen store, which would really help people in clenendin and clay county.
