Literally the worst grocery store in Kanawha county. High prices, absolutely no variety, constantly lacking all but the most basic cooking ingredients, and restocking never seems to happen consistently. All they did was slap a new sign on the crappy old Foodland. Kroger really needs to come to town and put this aging store out of it's misery.
Surprisingly good selection for such a small country store. They had tofu and kimchi as well as a really nice produce assortment

Well the Wiggly Piggly is the only game in town as far as getting things you run out of like milk, bread eggs etc. Kroger and Walmart has better prices which is why I stock up there when the cupboards get bare. I do like the Chesters Fried chicken though but it's no KFC. So to sum up I give them props for being locally and they know they are the only game in town and how much they can charge for everything even factoring in gas prices so they make maximum profit. I patronize them because of the history of the corporation, many don't realize that the Wiggly Piggly is the first store to begin the process of shoppers collecting their own groceries instead of waiting for employees to get them for them. I appreciate the history of our world. Oh and yes I know it's Piggly Wiggly, I just think it's more appealing to reverse the squealing. Lastly, does the Piggly advertising in the store become sadistic or cannibalistic when selling pork products ?
I've always shopped at Krogers...I only shop at piggy wiggly for the convenience....prices are too high
