Delightful. Built on the old Edgewood Country Club course. Short but challenging executive course. Challenge is in rise and fall in elevation, and narrow fairways. Greens are, at best, retro Scotland, circa 1880s. Come here for to work on your irons and your hill play, not your putting. Well worth $9 green fee.
$6 for 9 holes or $8 to play all day. Great par 3 to practice hitting your irons but the putting greens are pretty rough. Still for the price it is cheaper than a day at the driving range.
Awful. If i could give a zero i would. Greens included sand flats, fist sized holes, 4 different types of grass/weeds long and short. Paths and steps were not maintained and falling apart. Much of the fairway and rough were same lengths. Absolutely terrible they call this a golf course. Id be better off golfing in my backyard. Its no wonder they dont give rainchecks or refunds. I know now why the only accept cash. Total racket. City of charleston golf course. Pathetic.
Prices went up and still little improvements to the course to justify the rate hike. Greens are the worst in Kanawha County!!!
